No Victim In Christ Jesus

🕊️ Peace & Blessings 🌻 Brothers & Sisters In Christ Jesus,

A loving reminder that is on my heart.

If we have turned our hearts toward Jesus Christ in repentance, we are not stepping into condemnation but into life and restoration.

The Word of God declares in Romans 8:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”

This means that our past nor our negative present circumstances are our sentence when we are in Christ Jesus. 

Our decision to turn to Him is evidence of new direction, not ongoing guilt.

Jesus said in John 8:32

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

And again in John 8:36

“Therefore if the Son makes us free, we shall be free indeed.”

Freedom in Christ is not partial. It is complete authority to overcome evil, even while we are being renewed in our daily walk. 🌱

If we have confessed and turned back to God, His promise is clear in 1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

That means cleansing, not lingering condemnation. Cleansing means a real removal of guilt before God.

When our minds begin to accuse us, God instructs us in 2 Corinthians 10:5

“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Not every thought that speaks against our peace is truth. Some thoughts must be brought into submission to what God has already said. We must also be mindful that we are shaped by our surroundings, as our eyes and ears are gateways that influence our thinking. What we consistently dwell on, we often become. Good or bad. 🔥

Understand that correction from God is not rejection. 

“For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son and daughter whom He receives.”

Hebrews 12:6

This means discipline is proof of sonship or daughtership, not abandonment. It is love guiding us back into alignment.

So we are not without hope in our process.

“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

 Philippians 1:6

And James 1:12 reminds us

“Blessed is the man or woman who endures temptation; for when he or she has been approved, he or she will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

Even in struggle, we are being strengthened, not discarded. Know that.

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for us.”

1 Peter 5:7

We are invited to release the weight by placing it at the feet of our Savior Jesus Christ, no longer carrying the shame. God is not asking us to punish ourselves. He is calling us to walk with Him.

So we understand this clearly. If we have chosen Christ and continue to walk with Him daily, we are not victims of our past or prisoners of our mistakes. We are people being renewed, taught, corrected, and strengthened in truth, mercy, and agape love.

We stand in what God has declared, not what accusation tries to suggest. In Christ, we are forgiven, being transformed, and no longer condemned. As we know the accuser of the brethren, who brings accusations before God day and night, seeking condemnation rather than correction.

Revelation 12:10

Let this truth settle deep within our hearts and guide our steps forward, not as a moment of encouragement only, but as a daily posture of faith, renewal, and trust in the finished work of Christ.
