Chosen In Christ Jesus

Brothers & Sisters In Christ Jesus,


There comes a point in our walk with Jesus Christ where we quietly realize our lives were never our own to begin with. Through every trial, every season of pruning, every misunderstanding, every moment of isolation, and every lesson learned through obedience, God was revealing something greater than our own understanding. What we once thought was punishment was often preparation. What we once thought was loss was actually separation from the very things that could not follow us into our calling.


To those of us who say we are chosen or anointed, we should ask ourselves this question:


What were we chosen for?


We know:


It’s not for pride.


It’s not for superiority.


It’s not to condemn our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.


But to live out the assignment bestowed upon us and to carry Christ rightly in a dark world.


Many of us say and even claim we are chosen, but few stop and truly understand the weight of what we are saying.

Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Words carry responsibility, especially when speaking on things connected to God.

If God truly called us, then we already know our lives could never remain the same. The trials were not random. The separation was not random. The stretching, pruning, warfare, and seasons of isolation were not random. God was teaching us obedience, discernment, humility, endurance, and love.

We understand our assignment of Matthew 5:16 speaks of letting our light shine before men, to share what is possible and prayerfully increasing hope inside those who witness this light within us.

A light does not argue with darkness.

It simply shines. ✨

The calling was never about exalting ourselves. It was about reflecting Jesus Christ so others could see Him through our lives, testifying that if He did it for us, He can do it for them also.


Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Once we choose Christ, everything afterward becomes a process of sanctification, growth, correction, grace, mercy, and understanding. This is why we must be careful not to become accusers of our own brothers and sisters while claiming to walk in the Spirit, humbly considering ourselves also. 🙏🏼 
Unknowingly being a gatekeeper to what is rightfully theirs.

The enemy wants division. He wants people carrying truth to begin fighting one another instead of standing firm in Christ. But we understand that God sees it all hence why His word says that vengeance belongs to the Him. Romans 12:19


Our responsibility is obedience, stewardship, prayer, self reflection, and remaining aligned with the will of God.


Galatians 6:1 teaches that if someone is overtaken in a fault, those who are spiritual should restore them in a spirit of gentleness while considering themselves lest they also be tempted. Understanding this is a delicate and loving process because many of us operated a certain way for most of our lives before God transformed us. ❤️‍🩹

 
Proverbs 4:7 says wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. And if we are truly chosen, we must humbly apply this understanding in our own lives first before our brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus.

May we never forget the seasons God brought us through. ❤️‍🔥🔥 

May we never forget the mercy that carried us when our understanding was still immature.🌱 


According to 1 John 2:27, the anointing abides within us. Deep down, many of us already knew God was calling us long before we had words for it. The journey was learning stewardship and learning how to stop doubting what Heaven already established. The Lord was teaching us not to be discombobulated, confused, or moved by the voices around us.


We carry something precious. Like a shining rock placed in our pocket by God Himself. People may deny it with words, but their actions often reveal they see the light upon our lives. Some will try to take from us what God gave us. Some will try to psychologically wear us down until we surrender our inheritance willingly. But what God ordained cannot be stolen through intimidation if we remain grounded in Christ.


John 15:15 shows the beauty of ascension in God. We were once slaves to sin, then servants of righteousness, then sons and daughters through adoption, then called friends of God, and ultimately the Bride of Christ. This journey is not about becoming greater than others. It is about becoming more surrendered to Him.


So if we claim to be chosen or anointed, let us remember this:


Our calling is not proven by how loudly we speak.
It is proven by how faithfully we stand.


How gently we restore.


How humbly we walk.


How consistently we obey.


How brightly Christ shines through us.


We were not chosen to glorify ourselves.


We were chosen to glorify Jesus Christ.


So as we continue growing, learning, enduring, and being refined through every season God allows, may we never lose sight of who called us, why He called us, and the responsibility that comes with carrying His name. May we remain humble enough to be corrected, loving enough to restore, discerning enough to stand firm, and faithful enough to endure until the very end.


And if He truly turned our world right side up after realizing it was upside down, then let us walk worthy of that calling with love, humility, truth, mercy, discernment, and endurance until the very end.
